I got one today used and I cant get it to fit for crap on my dads 01 HD. I figured well ok.. maybe it wont fit the 6.0 so i tired it on the wifes 02Yukon and no dice there also? The heat shield is a biiiiiiotch to fit and it wont line up with the rubber adapter peice you have to put in the bottom triangle metal part(should make since to those that have one). I gave up after trying for 2 hours

if anyone have pics of it installed, could you please post some. My volant was a damn breeze on install compared to this K&N FIPK

any other help would be greatly appriecated also

The Yukon/Tahoe and the 6.0L truck use the same one, so it is probably one for a truck. The K&N part # for the Yukon/Tahoe and the 6.0L truck is 57-3023-1 and the truck one is 57-3021-1

I think that the one for the HD's, 6.0's, etc. (anything with a 34" radiator) have a completely different heat shield...it's a little smaller with only 2 sides, not 3 sides like the 5.3 FIPK. Here's a pic of mine when I had the original rad. There's more pics at my cardomain site.

well im guessing the yukon has a 34inch one also cause the trans coller lines and everything are in the way and the shield wont go into place. Its like it needs about 2-3more inchs of space. I know I gashed the metal peice up that the radaitor bolts to trying to make it fit.
