Default 99 5.3 gmc lopey cam w/ no trq loss??

whats the lopiest cam i can get without any torque loss??
i put a tb convert in

comp 212 218 is a decent low end cam that has some lope

its on a 114..go to the link in my sig and somewhere on the last 5 or so pages is a some sounds clips on mine 5.3 with that cam and a 4.8 i later put that cam in

think it will be good for hauling 2 place snowmobile trailer
thats about the biggest load i'll be hauling

why dont you call up crower or comp and have them custom grind you somthing. thinking a 208/212 on a 110* LSA (or maybe even a 108* LSA, if you are brave)

massive lope, great low end power...no hope of passing smog

LOL, +10 overlap is far from "massive lope." Massive lope is like a 244/244 on a 110 lsa. A 208/212 even on a 108 lsa is barely going to have any lope at all. My 224/224 on 112 lsa has 0* overlap and it is pretty noticeable but it's nothing compared to some of the guys on here.

see the problem lies on the fact that he wants factory like torque in the factory rpm range. narrowing out his LSA is really the only way to get any noise without hurting his off idle (unless he gets a torque coverter, but will still hurt torque). a 108* LSA should net him some decent noise. heck, here is a video of my neon with a 204/208 cam set, that at the moment had about a 110* LSA

now i realise that being a significantly smaller motor means that for a given duration, it equates to a larger cam in a larger motor, but you get the idea.
