You don't have any part numbers for the pedal assym, and, or that crossmember do you?

I am thinking of using the Z06 clutch assym. with my setup.

I wanted so bad to do this swap, but I too was worried about clutch life. The only clutch that I think would stand a chance is the McLeod Twin Disc. SPEC recommended their Stage 3i (a heavier-duty version of the Stage 3) but I've heard of F-bodies having trouble w/ their SPEC's...I couldn't imagine what a 4400+ pound truck would do to one.

I gotta give you props for doing it though. Congrats!

Well that sounds bad ***, we might have to meet at the track one day. hopefully I can get the vho running down in the 14's or lucky 13's by next April. I have Christmas and a birthday before then. Hopefully I can get a look at your truck.

I admire your testicular fortitude for attempting such a swap. Good job and post up some pics.

Are you going to do a before and after dyno. One with the 4l60e and the other with the new 6-speed. It would be interesting to see how much hp you lost through the tranny of the 60e compared to the 6-speed.
