Default ?? about fly cutting pistons

Long story short, a buddy of mine has a ls1 with a lifter that failed and chewed the cam up. He bought a used 238/242 605/605 114lsa cam and we need to know if fly cutting the pistons is necessary if his heads are milled 30 thousandths?? And could this cam be ran with stock unmilled heads?? The heads are stock 241's btw...

Thanks in advance,
Jeremy
