Added MagnaCharger now Slower???? HELP!

ok, I just re-programmed my computer with the superchips tuner and it said "Programmed installed is 2002 5.3L w/ Magnacharger" but I have a 2001. Could this be the problem? I am also thinking cloged fuel filter.

It's got to be the right program for the year to work right. I'll bet once you get that fixed up you'll be very happy with your purchase. The good news is that with only a $2k outlay you have a littl money to get any issues worked out. That was a hell of a score right there!

its not the RADIX, but I did get a helluva deal from a helluva nice guy. I really hope that Allen can figure it out when we get it on the dyno

If you do not have a tuner that is for your truck/vin# then I am sure it is not working properly? Where did you get the programmer?

came with the kit. it says for 2001-2002 4.8 5.3 6.0 but installs the 2002 program ???

I forgot to do that with my K&N cold air install, was so excited to take it out and thrash on it...I was like WTF when I punched it....got that figured out soon enough thou. I was suprised that the engine ran OK with one of its major sensors not sending data.
