Default adjusting rocker arms (as we speak)

Ok so I just got my 1.8 harland sharp rocker arms and I am installing them right now. Any oner know how many turns I should do? I have heard of doing 2 full turns on the ls1 based engines and was wondering if these lifters are the same. Thanks

These have to be the worst lifters I have ever come across. I adjusted one side at a time and the passanger side ones I set them all to two turns the first time, put the valve cover back on and started it up, too loud. So I did another 1/4 turn on each one, this time alittle better but you couild still hear them, I left them alone because with this truck you usually have to drive around a bit after doing rockers for the lifters to fully pump up. So on to the drivers side, set them all to 2 1/4 turns like the passanger side, well started it up and it back fired because they were too damn tight. One spring actually had coil bind, so I backed them off, found top dead center and set them all again. After 4 more times of adjusting the drivers side it would fire up easier but still after driving around some are too tight and some are too lose cause it hasnt shut up. I ran out of time and patience after screwing with them for 4 hours. What the hell ever happened to finding TDC then adjusting them to the required turns and calling it done? this is the worst thing I have ever had to adjust rockers on. Sorry for the long *** rant.

wow man, I'm about to put harlan sharps on my SS, and thought I'd do some searching first and found your post, how did it turn out? I've been debating about putting the stock ones on, or actually using these ones.

They turned out pretty good, I still might need to adjust them a little bit but not much. Its is a little faster, a bit meatier mid range if anything and its def. louder.
