After the cam swap on my truck it had no low end so im advancing my cam one tooth to see if it brings some bottom end back. The truck didnt start to pull till 4k and would shift before it felt like is was at its peak power. Is there anything in the tune i should worry about timing wise with to much advance? Or should i make some short pulls and see i get any knock retard.

I don't see how you dont have any bottom end with that cam and converter....

Get rid of the 3.42 gears

Is something wrong with your install or tune? That's a fairly small cam to have bottom end problems.

I thought it would have good bottom end to but it sucks. It ran 1 tenth better at the track im pissed that is why im trying this. Already tried retunes didnt work. i have good compression this is my last resort before the stock cam goes back in till i can aford a new cam. Atleast with the stock cam the mpg was way better.

Just finished it worked the power comes in at 3k and feels strong and now shifts at 6200 where i wanted it. For some reason before it would shift at 5700 not sure why. When i get 4.10 gears in ill be real happy.

sounds like it was one tooth off. You should degree it and see whats going on. That cam should hit sooner than 3k.
