You won't wanna go crazy with a cam for a DD truck... FI is what'll take you there. My thoughts would be a pretty mild cam, turbo, heads, see where it takes you. I'd think pretty a pretty much stock 2wd rcsb with a 6.0 has to be at least in the mid to upper 13s...so it shouldn't take a ton to get you there. Just make sure your driveline is up to it...llocker and prolly an 80e, cuz all the hp in the world won't do you any good if you can't get it to the ground.

Um, lq4 and turbo sound good. Cam, a bit of preference I'd suppose. I'm a torque guy...but for what you're trying to do, maybe like a 228ish..? I think the 8.1 marine injectors would be about right. Try contacting West Coast for heads, they'll be able to recommend something for your application I'm sure, lots of people seem to use them as a source for ported heads. Stall...for a dd I'd say what...~3200 maybe a touch more. Locker: tru-trac seems as popular as any. I'm 4wd and not exactly a track guy since my truck has just recently made the switch from 4.3 to 5.3, so I've never had a need for one. I guess I'm just trying to pass on what I've read and heard, I'm fairly new to all this myself and in no way claim to be a highly experienced expert, so take it with a grain of salt. There are others here with far more experience/knowledge...
