aftermarket brake owners help

Default aftermarket brake owners help

i installed baer allumisports which is the eradispeed 14" rotors and new calipers.......my front lines aren't long enough to bolt the brake line bracket to the spindle.........i zip tied them off but am worried about rubbing......are earls braided lines longer than oem lines?..........has anyone expierienced this?

I think the earls lines are longer, I put them on my SS and had to zip tie the up to keep from rubbing. I used the 28A640 kit 5 lines all together this is the 2wd kit.

they made the pedal harder, still mine stops like crap with the 20s on the little stock brakes. The lines fit great. Noticable in the pedal though. How is that brake kit? Is there a difference? What size wheels do you have?

the kit is real nice.....the first sets they shipped had some issues with the pads being to thick to slide over the rear rotors and the kits came with two front left sets of pads for the front.......but when i told them they were not right they brought four new sets of pads to my house..........i live about 30 miles from the factory......so that was cool.....they went fine after that....i have 22's on an ecsb and can deffinately tell a difference.........mostly comin down from high speeds....but i need to address the front line issues........where did you purchase yours?

I got them from Summit, They bolt right up.
