Default Air Filter Wraps

Who runs one? Who makes a good one? Pros? Cons?

What up Wes! I have one and love it. Here's a pic of mine. I only have to clean my filter every three months in the desert, and you know how dusty it is here.

A pic for 1 month without the filter.

A pic for 3 months with the filter

As you can see, its still clean after 3 months. Your truck is blown, so you might want to check around. I really don't think it affects the air inlet, but others will differ. Check with Magna.

Nice. Yeah, I figured results like that could be expected. I'm tired of noticing that my throttle body is filthy. I know that means that more crud is getting into my engine than sticking there. I'm definitely going to get one now. Thx man.

The problem you will have is that the oiled gauze filter will still let the fine particles through because the wrap will only stop the big stuff.

What size air filter are you running right now?
