there are no sensors ahead of the P1-SC. its reading is just prior to the t/b. the ATI superchargers use air to air intercoolers that are not subject to increased intake temperatures like your air to liquid intercooler. don't get me wrong, the Radix is an awesome piece and would like to have one myself, but, they are too hot.

Is the MAf located between the blower and the TB on the ATI ?

after the intercooler. The intercooler is mounted up under, where the skidplate is normally, behind the front baumper mounted horizontally. The blower tubing goes from the blower, to down there, to up to the MAF, to the throttle body. Sam

OK .. thanks Sam .. that really clears it up and I think finally answers the question about it!
bigguy .. black and tan wire. That should be the wires for the thermo. Let me know what kind of temps you get off of it. I'm interested to know.
Sam, after you get on it a lot, do you see the IAT's coming up? What is your ambient temperature when you do your testing. I'm sure the cooler air cools MUCH more effiecently than my 100* air down here. What kind of boost numbers are you seeing too? Try making a run with a steady 7-8 psi for about 15-20 seconds and see what they get to. I am wondering if that air to air is really that much better or just a difference in compressor temps.

Re: air temp. of supercharged applications?
If I make a 0-120mph run WOT, at 90 degree ambient temps, my IAT's go from 95 at the start of the run to 125 at the end of the run.
It takes about 5 minutes of 60 mph cruising to get the IAT's back down to within 10 degrees of ambient.
I made a cold air intake and an intercooler scoop for my setup, though so these temps might be better than with the stock ATI setup.

i can get a new thermoister for 3 bucks from radio shack. is there anyway to hook them up to a seperate gauge so i dont need to spice wires. ad rather have it as a temperorary gauge.
