And I am not sure if it effects your year model. I am just about sure it is a pcm problem.

I've had 3 different tunes in it and it still did it.

I think the injectors get clogged from the fuel rail causing a misfire. Did you have the crank relearned after installing the PCM's

Also, I heard that the coils won't interchange (different wire connectors). I've never tryed it personally though so I don't know for sure if that is true

Yep. I've done all that. It has new injectors and I have had the crank relearn done.

Do you still have your stock cats (not sure what pipes get replaced with the STS kit), you might want to have a back pressure test done. I've heard of a few trucks that had chronic misfires due to plugged cats. Some affected all the cylinders, others 1 or 2 only. good luck
