Same thing happened to my buddys here in town too. Red 04 SS, almost stripped in driveway and then taken to 3 Way Chevrolet to be all fixed and then it was stolen from the dealership!

Yea your right, it's when ya'll were fortunate enough to get the 14 bolt and rid of the crappy front end.

Well have you made the swap yet? I have the transfer case and am searching for info on the front end change. I really want to hear from someone who has done it. Is there an actuator or something in the front end that has to be changed?
I think that the guy Matt Swartzlander maybe did the conversion on a bad *** black truck that is supercharged. I would love to know for sure I dont want to have to buy an ss or denali front diff and axle assembly.

i havent done it yet, still looking for a good awd transfer case to ****** up, the problem is i dont want one with a million miles on it and people that have one to sell with low miles want too much for it. not only that but they go faster than they get posted up around here. hey zeake does it look like your front drive shaft will work with the nvg 149 or are you going to have to find a ss front driveshaft? and what about instead of finding a solid axle to change out with yours is there a way to just lock the actuator in fully engaged all the time?

I am not sure I will try to post the info when I get it. I am kina in the dark, I have got to stop roasting tires though. At 1/4 throttle it will break traction in 2wd and in auto 4wd it is harsh and a brutal ride when the autotrac kicks in. My wifes Trailblazer SS is so much nicer to ride in and it just hauls but. Trick performance turbo at 7.5lbs LQ9 6.0 using inj duty cycle I get 506HP at the crank at 7.5lbs
