Default For all you Overheating guys....

I was just thinking about all the folks who've been overheating lately, and wondering how many of you have underdrive pullies. Is it possible that the pullies aren't allowing the waterpump to spin quickly enough at idle to circulate the coolant? Or is the waterpump spinning faster, not allowing the coolant to stay in the radiator long enough to be cooled?

Just a thought...

Nope, stock crank pulley here. I think my problem is the radiator. Have a new one to change to as soon as I get a chance to do it.

The only time I ever had problems cooling was when I had a clogged 34" rad. With the ele fans or the clutch. Try swapping back to the smaller stock one or try a brand new radiator.

I got my brand new 34" Rad on eBay for $230 shipped I think, came with trans cooler, oil cooler, and a drain tube(no drain on my stocker, or oil cooler, bonus!)

I've got the flex-a-lite 295 fans, 28" radiator, and Underdrive pulley.
