man the engine still runs. shheesh. he is getting a little more blowbye than he likes is the truth. it was a stock lq4 pullout motor. he could run it for a while if wanted. i think that the bug has hit him and he is going to go ahead and go extreme due to the numbrers that it is pushing. why take a motor to the very limits and then break it when he can go thru it now, make it better and then not worry about it. my imo is --do it now.

Those engines are a dime a dozen and can be had for a small amount of $flow$. He's going to go with a totally different enginethan the on in it.
I'm not taking anything seriously, I was just defending the guy. I'll buzz in every now and then.
I'm just still amazed how my truck runs . If my engine fails anytime soon, then I will side up with you guys and take a to Allen's head .
Anyways, no feelin's hurt here.

They are not all that easy to find. I've looked and anything that has super low miles, or factory take out is $1800+. Definately not what i'd call a dime a dozen cheap motor. Shipping alone will set you back a few hundred..

The 6.0L I was talking about is the LQ4, not the LQ9.
I know the people, though I'm in no need of another engine as of now.
