The LS9 cam has an IVC (Intake Valve Closing) point of about 46 degrees so it should peak at 6300+ rpms. If I were tuning for that cam I'd have the shift points around 6500-6600 rpms.

Excellent Info Thanks - It looks like there is 39 degrees of overlap which explains why some have noticed a slight lope to this cam.

Did you put it on the dyno to see where the cam stops making power and how much it drops off from the peak hp rpm to say 6500-6600?
If the cam stops making power at say 6200 then slowly drops power till say 6500, id pull it to 6500 on every gear unless you have horrible traction issues at the upper rpms. If you have a lot of traction issues at the higher rpm id short shift the truck on the street and then make the tow/haul button run to a higher rpm for track use. Just my .02
