is this only as a benifit to those running F/I. Or can you run one with a non-forced engine.

I have mine on my N/A setup. It really doesn't matter, just depends on how you plumb it.

I wish I would have used one since day 1. When I did my Radix install, my manifold and intake runners on the heads were coated with oil build up.

I think I should try this. The reason being is that on average I lose about a little less that a quart between oil changes. It might be buring up but it also might be going somewhere else. You guys think this is a good idea to try it.

Yea, I'm N/A, and I couldn't believe how much oil was being sucked up through the PVC...then I thought about the inside of my intake, and my combustion chambers, and my valves...aaarrrgghhh! Did a seafoam induction service right after the installation of the can.

i think this is a good idea for everyone. i have had a few motors apart and the amount of oil in the intake is prety sick, there is no way it can be a good thing.

on my set up the pcv goes right in front of the turbo. that means all that oil goes thru the intercooler. i bet there is a significant drop in efficency with an oil coated intercooler.

i have a question. i have found baked on carbon on the pistons and intake ports and back of the throttle blade. is that oil related or just something that happens even without the oil?

I am not to sure on the pistons and the intake ports, but from what I understand behind the TB plate is all the buildup from the EGR.

I did clean my TB couple of weekends ago and I stuck my finger in the intake and there was a nice thin even coat of oil smudge

So AMW doesnt use a filter?? What if you used a slightly larger coalesing filter than the one everyone is using for the homemade ones and just wrapped a piece of stainles mesh screen where the filter goes and somemething like a filter element laying on the bottom to absorb the oil so it can't bypass the can??? I have a larger one, I may have to do some experimenting.

The lid for the AMW can has a filter built in with a bunch of metal rings inside - goes about 2" deep.

Yea, you're going to get some carbon deposits no matter what...just a by-product of combustion.
