Default Another 4L80E question

Will a stock 4wd 4L80E hold up to a mild 408 on a 4wd truck weighing between 4500-5500lbs with a 9" rear end, 4.88's and 35" tires (daily driving, a little towing, a few full throttle blasts here and there)?

What converter would you suggest for the above truck?

I think it would. Mine is standing up to a RADIX'd 5.3 running 12's in a 4400 pound truck.

I like my Hughes converter, but that's up to you really.

How much of a stall would you suggest for my applications? I'm still kind of a newb to this stuff so I'll take any suggestions.

Also what cam would you suggest?

Hey Flyer, do you have a site with info on your truck? I have lots of customers with GM trucks that come in and I try talking them into either a turbo or a Radix but I wanted to know more about how you got yours into the 12s.

Sorry for highjacking mate

THe biggest mods I have on mione are the RADIX, cam, headers, converter, and slicks. That's about what it would take to get there I think. Lo9ts of hard work and some mojo tuning work would help too.

If you got any questions PM me and I'll see if I can elaborate a little more.
