seems perfect to me. Trailblazer 2800 stall work well with this? or should i spend a lil more with a fuddle around 3000-3200?

thats the exact same cam I have it has suprising power lower than you would think great for when the converter is locked. I was expecting it to start at 3500 but it really kicks in around 2800 and pulls like a mother till about 6200. With my setup that cam loves 4400 rpms thats the magic number the speedo just dives down from 4400 to 6200 I should get a vid of it. I can actually gain on an ls1 in those rpms its just this heavy as truck after it shifts it gives up alot. With your lighter truck and some headwork I would be shooting for 13.4 and maybe 8.3 in the 1/8
I wish it pulled more into the higher rpms though. This cam loves a really good exhaust I picked up a huge amount by doing the full exhaust after the h/c install.
If you go with ported heads I wouldnt go with anything over stage 1 keeping the velocity up helps tremendously. Overall I think its a great street cam Ive been happy with it plus its an LPE design and there stuff is good another plus it has regular lobes (easier on valvetrain) I think comps xer xr lobes are a load of crap
This setup in a lighter truck would make for a good street truck lots of fun.

LPE's website says $250, which is much less than any of their other cams... or anyone elses for that matter
