From slponline.com

PHP Code:
For the enthusiast who wants a matched camshaft packageSLP offers this complete cam kitThrough extensive dyno and track testingour engineers have developed a package that provides maximum horsepower and a moderately aggressive idle in LS1/Ls2/LS65.3L, or 6.0L applicationsEach kit includes a camshaftmatching valve springstitanium retainers, and keepersThis "package" approach takes the guesswork out of valvetrain assemblyletting you focus on the fun part-making powerNot legal for use on pollution-controlled motor vehicles

NOTEPCM reprogramming strongly recommended. Use SLP's Valve Spring Compressor Tool Set (part #53306) for in-car installations.

My 5.3 has only intake and exhuast changed. Plus EFI Live.

thats a bit big for a 5.3, you would need a fairly large stall for that cam..to get the full benefits of a cam you need some long tube headers, 4.10 gears and you was to run a cam with that much duration you would need a 3600 rpm stall, you might want to stick to a 220-224 duration cam with the supporting mods and 3000 stall..do some research on what setups people are runnin..what kind of truck do you got?

1999 rc step 2500 stall
stock manifolds feeding 3.5in x 18in collector, no cats, 3in mandrel bent to the 50 series Flowmaster at the bumper. The collector actually gives it a nice ring

That cam looks like it was made for a 6.0L with a turbo and 3000+ converter.
