Default Another exhaust drone fix!

Man,I am so happy. I installed a 29" side branch resonator after the muffler as described in the sticky. Absolutely no drone in the 1700-1900 rpm range now. I have a 3" single tailpipe and used 2.5" pipe for the resonator. I have a 90º bend off the tailpipe where I tapped in and a straight run back upstream towards the front.

Thanks to whoever found out about this and made it a sticky.

What would it do if the resonator was before the muffler?

Are you talking about a helmholtz resonator?

Yes,I read the thread(s) about it and it flat out works. I done mine pretty much the way "kbracing96" done it on his diesel. Mine runs straight back instead of a J bend as he has. Pictures of his can be viewed on page 2 of the sticky.
