well, I have no budget at all... but I have always been sold on the AEMs. They were really popular when I was younger and they always made a really sexy product. Cermaic coated, always fit *******, the flanges were high quality and the tubing was too!

Thats not to say that there aren't a LOT of other top quality headers on the market, I just trust the AEM name and like their products.

But, like I said, its most likely going to be entry level headers so I can do more work to the motor.

I would go with the OBX's on ebay. You can get them for $320 shipped on ebay. They are the best mix of budget and quality.

He said he wants to go FI down the road, the obx is a smaller primary and collector BTW Stainless works are nice but do cost a couple bucks, def a top notch set up.

Stick with the LPP's

The size is just fine. I had both and the pacesetters and there was no difference whatsoever. KySilverado is going 11s with the 2.5" dynatechs and a radix no problem.

The reason I prefer the OBX over the LPP is the fact that the OBX have better connectors. I don't like slip fit personally. Also, the LPP's claim to be USA made when they clearly aren't. Unless someone can explain to me how you can get a USA header for $400 when everyone else is double that.

That choice is up to him.. Unless they are the new revised OBX, the LPP is by far the best out for a budget IMO.. I'm not going to get into a pissing match on what exactly is the best, as it is a opinion matter..Hell they are prob made by the same company, some poor guy making 3$$ a hour...

BTW do you have any dyno numbers to support you " No difference claim"

Well, to adress the forced induction down the road... when I have FI money, I have no problem revising a few of the bolt ons. Im really looking for the best product for normal aspiration right now.

I wanted to adress the different things I have heard about primary and collector size. I have heard mixed stories about both.

Can someone explain "slip fit" ?
