i just called Seth for the 3rd day in a row, i wonder if he is sick of me yet?
i asked him to weld in an extra bung in the down pipe for my wideband 02, he didn't think it would be a problem. i also asked about the exact set up when they pushed it on 100octane.
5.3, 100octane, 14psi, 460gm/sc, 3deg of KR so that is pushing it HARD. i dont know how to calculate that but from looking at some logs it looks like that is probably around 60lb/min or just guesing here but ~500rwhp?
i dont see ever running better than 100octane but imangin pushing a lower compresion forged everything heads and cam 408 with a bigger down pipe and a monster cut out! i would think 600-700rwhp
something i am not so sure about is how they scale the maf, if it is the same mass air sensor and they just rescale it for tuning purposes can you still look at it and use it a guestamite for fly wheel hp?

On the MAF thing you'd have to know the percentages it was scaled over the range you were looking at. Then you could use it as a rough estimate. Your 60lb/min is about right for a stock calibration. Just multiply the gms/sec by 1.32 for an estimate of flywheel hp.
12psi at 6000rpm on a 9:1cr 409 should get you 700+rwhp. That's on a warm day too. If it's cold out things could get crazy.

they are telling me mid january, i am seriously excited!!
right now i have a ton of parts on order and a few that showed. got a fuel pump, 57lb injectors, tranny cooler, shift kit and a boost controler.
talked to seth at cmotorsports just yesterday and i sure like what he has to say, i think he is going to be a GREAT resource, seems to have a ton of turbo experience on lt1's and ls1's. told him i am running a 125shot right now and he said this kit on a pump gas setting will BLOW the 125shot away. we also talked about turbo cams and he seems to know his ****. i am going to get his advice when i go to build a motor too.
one change on the kit is instead fo 304stainless they are upgrading to 316stainless, he said it is way better and they got it for a great price so no extra charge. suppose to handle temp changes better and crack less, anyone know about stainless?

316 Stainless is also more resistent to Chemicals.
As far as buying stainless bolts, you'll find 316 used in factory's etc.
I have never seen Stainless pipe crack in an automotive application but if he says 316 is better than great.
