Question Any 2005 VHO Silverado Owners??

Was just curious who here has a 2005 VHO edition Silverado?
I'm really trying to see what the 05' owners are doing for exhaust mods.
No custom exhaust, pre-fabbed kits only.
I'm getting a little frustrated with all the major exhaust manufacturers telling me they will have an exhaust kit for my truck, but then when I call them back they then tell me they do not know when they will build a kit.
Does anyone have any better resources or facts on exhaust kits (full bolt-on cat back exhaust system)?
The 05's exhaust systems are supposedly a little different than the 04's.

I'm really surprised that they even knew what kind of truck you were talking about.
Everyone I've called just says, "huh, what kind of truck?"
I guess no one really knows much about them.
Basically it's an SS without ground effects, painted bumpers, and AWD.
Though I'm a little shocked that the exhaust systems are different.
I know you can put an exhaust kit from an SS onto a VHO, but it will hang a bit lower, even the tip will be lower due to groud effects at rear of truck.
Was the magnaflow kit a complete bolt on kit?? You didn'y have to weld or cut any of the factory exhaust pipes did you??
I want a kit that goes from the two flanges back.
Do you know what I'm talking about?

I didnt bother to call around because it seems that nobody knows of these trucks so I did a little research and found a local guy on this board with an 04 and he said the Magnaflow would work so I shot him an email and he told me I could come by and check it out myself, super nice guy and he was right it fit like a glove. It is a bolt on,no cutting or welding I have my complete stock setup intact in my garage.I dont think the tip is too low and that was one of my concerns I could email you a pic if you would like.Look up part # 15838 on Magnaflows website and look at the PDF file for the install instructions and you can see that it is the same design.

Are you sure about that? The cladding on the SS seems to be just as low as the sheet metal. It just wraps around the bottom of the sheet metal in most places.

Yes it is lower. The factory exhaust systems for a 05' SS and a VHO Silverado are different. I did that research first before ordering an SS exhaust system from someone.
You would think it would be the same. The Denali is even different.
