Default Any Mods worth doing on the V6? :(

Yeah I got the v6 truck I was wondering if there are any mods out there worth doing to get a few extra ponies to free up? I don't want to be trying to like be fast or anything like that since it is just a v6 but i need at least SOME passing power I have a 40 series flowmaster exhaust dumped befor the rear axel and the K&N Filter so far. I don't want to de-screen the MAF since there are way too many mixed reviews about it but any other suggestions...besides swapping the motor heh... would be greatly appriciated

Thanks

Nope not really, I mean there are but what a waist!! You'll never be able to get that thing running like it can with that **** poor V6 chevy threw in there. Now if it was the I6 that comes in the trailblazer then you could be talkin but its not so dont waist your money or time!!! JMO If you want some real power invest in a V8 and i got one for sale if you want it. Its a 2002 LS6block already machined and everything!!!

There may be some cams out there by Comp or Crane. There are shorty headers available. There's even a supercharger kit.

I had plug wires, Borla exhaust, and airbox mods on mine. Unfortunately, it didn't respond all that well to any of them. Not like the V8 motors do...

I had an s-10 once with the v-6 in it and what really helped it out was changing the gears in the rear end. I went with a 4.10.
