yes, i hit rev limiter.

Both trucks are RCSB.

The White LQ4 truck has a tuned stock LQ4 with CAI, built trans (no torque management in tune), exhaust that consists of single in/dual out flowmaster and 2200 stall.

I have a 5.3 with the 212/218, efans, UD pulley, stock 60E, tune (not for the cam at the time. I also still have torque management left in my tune) and Pacesetter LTs into a Corsa touring.

We both have open 3.42 differentials.

I've got a YankTT3000 waiting to go in. I also need to get a locker for the axle.

thats one of the best choices cam on a 5.3 for a mild setup, when I had the 5.3 I had that cam but on the low lift, I ran 14.0 in my EC @ full weight, other mods were open 3.42, 26"e/t's, shorty's, TB stall, CAI, no cats, on a 93 mail order tune.. this was in perfect weather also, but like metioned full weight, with tonneu cover tailgate and all...... also a member on here "tiburon" use to have it in his RCSB, he ran a best of 13.0 with that same cam I believe he had all the bolt-ons, 2800 stall and 4.10's.... like mentioned it really works well with the 5.3's...

and now I have that cam you mentioned 212/218 .558lift on 114lsa in my DD and it freakin woke that that big **** up!!! real surprised how how in performs in my z71...

Im putting in a 212/218 (265/271) .558/.563 115LSA in my 4.8l as soon as I get it. I got a oil pump, LS6 springs, valve stem seals and hardened push rods. Actually I dident get the push rods yet, but did you guys that have this cam do the push rods also with the install? Totally necessary? Im also waiting for my tranny to explode, 90K on it and this cam and a stall eventually will kill it.

you dont HAVE to run new pushrods but it doesnt really hurt man. I scored NIB comp 7.4's for $90 shipped on ebay. It would be smart while you had the valvetrain disassembled.
