Do any of you guys race in Birmingham AL.I'm planning a weekend trip there in 2wks thought I might check out the track.I've seen a track on highway 78 coming in from Memphis and thought I might take the Drag TAs.Do they sell 104 unleaded there.

Check out our message board www.bhamfbody.com . Ask if anyone is going to the track this weekend. If so I would almost imagine that they are going to Steele, but Bama, the track you are referring to, may have something going on as well.

 

Do they race on friday nights at Steele? I'm going for the Alabama State pistol match at the Steele City gun range I will probably stay somewhere close to the range.

 

Well they are open on Friday nights. I do not think you can call what they do on Friday's racing. It is called Midnight Madness, empahsis on the madness. Mostly imports and punks. You will not get a prepped track and you probably will not get to run alot either. I can almost guarantee you "racers" will be driving right up through the water box.

Your best bet is to go on Sunday for TNT, test-n-tune. They usually prep the track somewhat.
