Default Any recomendations on exhaust set up???

so for christmas my brother says he'll pay to get my cats removed and a chambered muffler box on there. My exhaust is already longtubes to a 3inch y pipe with high flow cats and a dynomax bullet, those straight thru type of boxes.Truck is cammed and tuned and planning on some forced induction some time in the near future but He says it would be better that way because it would flow good and create some good back pressure .any help would be appreciated

keep the stock catback, get cats removed and get electric cutouts.

that way you can have a quiet exhaust for long roadtrips, and can make it loud when you want to.

i had longtubes with no cats and an SLP powerflow, and that got old after like 20k miles

keep what you have. You dont need backpressure for one thing, and that chambered muffler will just rob you of a couple hp. If you want more sound out of it, get the cats replaced with an offroad y pipe, and get a custom tune if you dont already have one.

The Corsa mufflers are outstanding. You get your cake and eat it too because its quiet with no drone cruising but downright wicked at WOT. Downside is the cost.

Jones Max Flow SS muffler.

I've got a DI/DO dumped right after the cab and it only drones due to not having much of anything for tailpipes and it's proximity to the rear of the cab.

It might not be quiet enough for you though. I've still got low mileage stock cats and a dual 3" exhaust and it's only obnoxious when I first start it up. It is quite mellow for the price. I even bought one for my beater Corsica w/2.2L.

Magnaflow is hard to beat. Have been running them for years it has a low rumble and sounds awesome at highway speed and when you jump on the skinny pedal it roars.. Love them
