Yeah, I was using a round one, where you slide it around until it stops...it was a pain because all but one of my plugs were set at .052".

I like the round gap gauges, just put the guage in at a smaller gap and work it around till you get the desired gap the mark on the guage should be in the middle of the strap, its not rocket science so I wouldnt worry too much about it if the mark isnt directly in the center of the strap
