Default Any way to fix a warped v band clamp?

Well I slightly warped one of my v bands when I welded it on and I have a slight exhaust leak. I was thinking of installing some tin foil around it. I have heard of others say it works. Any other suggestions outside of buying a new one?

Well I did some searching looks like a long flat file may do the trick to flatn it out. Just will take a while.
