Any ways to reduce hp/tq driveline loss???

Re: Any ways to reduce hp/tq driveline loss???
I have a custom aluminum shaft made which weighs half the weight of the stock steel. Honestly, I don't think it helped, but sure does look good. The yank I have is a torque thruster which is smaller/lighter than stock. All the upgraded tranny internals are supposed to run together smoother. I think evrything together may have shown less driveline loss but really the key is to produce more power, so much power alittle driveline loss wouldn't matter.
I spent almost 500 on the driveshaft that I could of bought a nice cam or nos kit and made alot more performance. But
I much rather gain perdormance mechanically, weight reduction suspension work, driveline etc, instead of taking a chance with computer crap and phoney bolt ons. Comes to a point though were Now I have a great driveline and a weak engine.

yes it's possible to put a 6 speed in our trucks, it bolts right to the motor, you'd just have to have a custom cross member and driveshaft i believe. i'm thinking about doing so for my 6.0 swap since the T56 is stornger with just a good clutch and some simple parts than the 4L60E is fully race built. plus there's the extra power gained and the better gas mileage from the double overdrive!
