Default Anybody know where to pick up a 6L?

I have been looking for a 6L for the past month and I havent had any luck. Does anybody know where there are any 6L in the houston area or near Alabama where I am currently located. I have checked all the junk yards and havent been able to find one that is good enough for me. I am looking for an lq4 with less than 25,000 miles on it and dont want to buy one off ebay. Anybody have any suggestions or know where one is located.

You are smart not to buy one from ebay. I bought one from ebay, when I finally recieved it, it had lost a valve and destroyed the piston. I had chunks of piston in all the cylinders, could not find the valve in the motor. This motor was supost to have only 20k on it, and was supost to be pulled from a wreck. I didn't even get everything I was supost to. I am filing a case with ebay now. In total with shipping, I lost about $1100. The block was scratched up preaty good too.

Somebody said to pm THEPARTSMAN and I did that was two days ago and still havent had my pm returned so I dont know does anybody know about the 6L from the ss even if its an lq9 I would rather buy from someone off of here then just somebody off the street.

They are rediculously over priced I can pick up a brand new 6L longblock for 3200. No thanks. I guess it is back to digging in the junk yards.

I got mine on ebay. Fortunately it was in good condition and now resides on an engine stand holding down my garage.
