Default Anybody make a 15" 6 lug wheel for our trucks? I want to run a 28"x11.5 ET Street!!

Like the topic says, I've looked and looked, but no luck. Is they anybody that makes a 15" rim for the 6 lug trucks that pretty cheap? I just want to be able to bolt my ET street on there from my old LT1 camaro and go, but the 16" thing is holding me back. Any ideas?

The 15" wheel won't fit on there without grinding on the brakes a little.

I've thought about this too, and would like to know of a wheel that would fit, but I haven't had the ambition to look for one yet.

Grinding on the wheel is no big issue, hell I practically had to grind half my caliper off to get the wheels on my 95 to fit.

I ran a set of plain old white spoke wagon wheels last season. Howse that for cheap? Heavier than crap and even uglier, but at least I was able to run the 15's. Took me about an hour to grind the calipers. No biggie.

I don't know how much different my 98 is from the LS1 trucks but I have a set of 15x8 KMC's on it, just had to grind on the caliper a little, no big deal.

with a 15" wheel I could get some drag radials that would be 28 to 30" diameter, which would be perfect. All the 16" wheel DR's are 26" - way too small.

What is involved with grinding the caliper? All I have is a Dremel - I suppose I'd need something a bit more heavy duty...but how much material needs to be taken off?

I would try and get a side grinder .. that would make quick work of it.

On my 98 I just took a 4" angle grinder and ground down the topside corner, it doesn't take much. Just put your wheel on and put a couple of lugs on there and spin it to see if it clears.
