Anybody else car to school me on whether they will hurt low end, due to the size of the prim's abd collectors??

I'd think that in theory you'd lose some scavenging due to the big primaries and collectors, but I have no concrete proof. As mentioned you may also lose some boost...I dunno if it sounds like a "win" situation to me, but I could be way off base here...

I think a 1 3/4 to 1 7/8" step would be better for your setup but, that is just from reading about different setups over the years.
