I'll be getting them this month. I know it's a lot of money but I do have to worry about being emissions compliant, they're starting to get strict out this way.

Some laws state that you cannot remove your stock cats unless they are not functioning properly. So unless you got water or coolant in them or they were damaged somehow it would be "illegal" to replace cats on a new vehicle. Unless for some reason the vehicle has enough miles on it and the cats are burnt out.

all I have to say is money talks.
I changed out my cats with 15k miles on my old truck, no questions asked....just took them the new ones and said, "hey, put these on for me while you are doing my exhaust" and that was it.
