I hear ya.
I have (2) 18" long 4" round bullet resonators; (2) HUGE Magnaflow mufflers (22" X 5" X 11"); and (2) ultra quiet resonators (4.5" x 6.75"). They are all straight through design.
With those 6 mufflers, my truck is as fast if not faster then before and it really quiet! I don't think a cutout would really make much difference to be honest. I'm going to drop the exhaust one of these days and see though. Should be fun.![Burnout](https://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_burnout.gif)

I used to have 4 on my 04 SSS , but now run a single large body "turbo" muffler. It is probably for a motorhome? any how my truck did not seem any slower after the swap, and I run a cutout...
I dont see any point on even running a "cat-back" on newer cars/trucks..Just run LT's/ORY with a cutout...best of both worlds
