Anyone Ever tried putting 3 Way Components up front?
Just wondering if anyone has ever tried putting 3 way components in the doors of a truck. I wonder if you can make that work!??!? Dyn offers a 7", 4" & 1" 3 way combo that would probably rock!
All I lack now is a good set of components

Looks like a lot of cutting. I don't think I would do that. I kinda like the stock look inside. What about putting the 7" and 1" in the doors and putting the 4" in the kick panels.

It may just work. I had my door panels off last week and you might be able to fab it up real nice. If you do it, I want to see and hear it.

My MB Quarts worked, put the 6.5 and 3 inch in the doors and the 1 inch in the pillar near the windshield flush mounted. The 1 inch was mounted about 1/3 the way up the pillar.

They have plenty of room. I just did a set of Infinity components. I put the xovers in the kick panel, the 6.5 in the stock location. For the tweeter I removed the factory from the rear and mounted the Infinity. It looks like the factory. The plastic you see is just a cover. The 4 inch should fit between the both.
