Just like the title says, how many guys here are hitting the 450-500RWHP mark with a single 3" pipe? I'm wondering if with my new headers I should build a 3" y-pipe into a single 3" exhaust pipe OR run true 3" duals. The single pipe is cheaper and easier to work with whereas the dual setup will cost me at least another $500 on top of the y pipe setup. Decisions decisions. I'd rather keep the cost down if I can

Yeah but that was through a cutout. You have to remember when a cutout is open you have a 3" hole that exhaust can flow through but some exhaust still flows through the rest of the exhaust.
If it was me Id do 3.5 or 4 after the y, 4 maybe just because you can adapt dmax exhausts for cheap. I bought that summit setup, I dont know if Ill use it or not though.
Im really thinking a nice set of LT headers with 3" ORY pipes merged with the flowmaster collector to 4" with a cutout there then neck it down to attach to a stock catback. Atleast for me the loud *** exhaust gets old.
