Anyone here hitting 450-500 RWHP with a single 3" exhaust pipe?

I don't want to use a cutout. I just want to keep the setup as quiet as possible using magnaflow mufflers. The problem is, running a true dual setup with magnaflow muffs doesn't leave me a lot of room since I'm a RCSB. I'd have at least another $500-$600 in exhaust going to a true dual setup. If I go with a single 3" setup, I already have that catback setup. I'd just need to tie into what I have and be done.

Sounds like you already knew the answer to your question before you asked it then? You dont want to spend the moeny on duals, you dont want a cutout, that only leaves keeping what youve got. I fail to see what is wrong with using a cutout but whatever you want.

Specs on the new setup? I'm curious how a new cam and heads is going to gain 100 rwhp.
Regarding the exhaust, why don't you be the test dummy? Much like you I question the ability of a single 3" catback to support 450 rwhp....however, seeing stock48 go 9s on a 3.5" pipe makes me think 3" is more than enough.
