I went mid 10's with a single 3"dp, and muffler, but for na 500hp it's too small. 3.5-4" is minimum I would run on a hot na setup.

im ditching my 3" duals and going to a single 3.5" setup...the duals ended up being WAAY too much for what ive got. 3.5" should suit you just fine

Meh, I'm going true duals with no X pipe or H pipe. I want that nice divided v8 sound. One turndown in each corner of the truck bed.

i personally dont think its enough, nor is it big enough

3" true dual is plenty for setups around 500 ( my own opinion )

true, but i think he ended up going duals close to the end of after adding his fuel cell, had each pipe drop straight back. basically the way i am fixing to set mine up

only way to be true dual

the thing is if youre gonna build a setup to produce big power dont cut your self short on exhaust, its one of the top most important things to a perfect combo on my 408 build ( expecting close to 600 NA ) i am thinking 3.5 pipes straight back with hardly if any bends

Yeah, the dual exit on the one side or the out the back exit with the mega chrome tips is way overplayed. I'm going to shoot for something a little more old school like on the 67' or 66' chevelle SS's. Either angle downwards or outwards.

Either something like this:

Or something like this:

The last question is do I just have the pipe cut the way I want OR should I go with a black stainless exhaust tip that turns down......
