and you have a larger compresor right?

like i said. the radix seems to be able to just get over 500rwhp in an auto truck. that is prety impresive.

Parish, I still have the regular 'ol Whipple like you used to have. I am intercooled now, which made 75 extra horses at the wheels. I am close to the airflow limits of this thing I know.

Parish isnt kind of funny that it takes twice the torque 1000 VS 500, twice the boost 16 vs 8, more engine 408 and a 100 shot of nitrous to knock 1 second off your time compaired to a radix powered 6.0. These trucks are like lead weights it takes so much more power just to make it a second faster, I think we need to put or engines in Vegas or chevettes I am sure we would have 8 second machines.

limits? what are you talking about? everyone knows you can just spin a blower as fast as you want and get in infinate amount of power

just foolin around i just dont want to misslead people. if someone wants 600rwhp maybe a radix in a perfect world on a perfect set up would be able to do it but with the right compresor(turbo i guess till a larger blower comes out) then 600rwhp is prety easy.

i honestly think if you are starting from scratch and you are going to want over 500rwhp in one of these trucks then a radix is not the best route to go. if you will be ok with around 500rwhp or less i think the radix may be the best way to go especialy for keeping it simple, clean and reliable.

yes it does take a lot more power to get those last tenths. in the trucks defence i have spent no time at all working on my launch. with a 1.5x launch i think that run would have been around a 10.35.

there sure are a lot of 11sec trucks out there now only a matter of time before there are a pile of 10sec trucks.

The 3.3L manifold-mounted Whipple from those Aussies at Starr Performance is rated at 1000+HP. If the the 650HP 2.2L version is $10K(US), however, I'd hate the hear what the 3.3L version goes for...

I'm shoting for 500hp/500tq as soon as I get my intercooler setup. I ran a 12.41 without a stall convertor and with a mild tune so I guess I'm not to far away. I think when I get the intercooler setup done I'm goin try to hit 15 psi with the whipple and see what happens.

OK, OK...... TUBRO POWER.

I can see where this is headed, and I am kind of sick of the argument.

Consider me out of this one.

Parish I think we all should have 10 second trucks and you should have a 9 second truck then we would all be tickled to death
