If it wasn't built for it, why would one even take the chance? JIMO.

They are built for it. The only difference between FF and Non-FF trucks is the pump and injectors. The tank, lines, ect are all the same... E85 can even be ran in 100% in a non-FF truck with a proper tune. The only thing is for best performance, it should dedicated to E85 and not switched back and forth. But with fuel trim tuning it is quite possible to run different mixes of E85 and reg gas. MANY people are running this way and I have never seen any one that did it and came back saying "E85 blow up my truck"...

No mine is not flex truck. But like kb mentioned it should not matter it is all in the tuning. I do have a walbro pump and bigger injectors so if i wanted to run 100% e85 i would be ok i would just need to adjust the tune

Well i have put about 30-40 miles on it and the STFTs only changex about 3-4%. Truck seems to be liking it part throttle. At WOT afr is still around 12.8ish. I am gonna try this for a few weeks. 20 gallons 93 and 2-3 gallons e85. Maybe i will try upping the timing a little bit next week

So far no difference. Then again it has only been 30 miles. Next tank will be more accurate.
