Default Anyone put Headers on a Bone Stock 5.3?

I have been weaving this question into other threads without sucess so here I am.
I have an 03 Z71 ECSB 5.3. Lightly modded with a K&N drop in, Nelson 93 tune and an SS exhaust. See my signature.
I am pondering a set of good long tubes.
My questions are,
1. What can I really expect to gain from the headers. Keep in mind I will be staying with the SS exhaust. I have true duals going into the SS muffler. Corsa engineers say the SS muffler flows 160 CFM better than the OE muffler. Would it be a bad bottle neck? I don't think the OE mufflers of today are as restrictive as the after market folks would have us believe.
2. Does TOG make long tubes for my truck?

To answer your subject line: Yes. I have the Dynatech Supermaxx long tubes on my truck. I don't have any numbers, but if you have plans for a cam in the future, I think it's a good thing to do at anytime.

Best I have noticed SOTP is that the truck moves a little easier up around 80mph

Headers are good Rock! They're good on a stock motor, they're good on a blown motor, hell they're just good. I think the bigger ones are better but I'm not sure. I hope you don't mind but I'm trying to up my post numbers. I know they count if you type it in this section and I've got a lot of catching up to do.

My 02 silverado used to run 10.0"s consistantly with a few 9.90"s here and there before the ASM's. After I added the ASM's The truck ran consistant 9.70's with a few high 9.60"s here and there. Longtubes are worth it in my opinion. These runs are all in the 1/8th mile.

I really enjoy the performance differance since the installation of my ASM long tube headers. They've been on for about a hundred thousnd miles now, almost three years, and still look great. No rust,no leaks. they cool down alot faster than the cast manifold too. Go long, the stock manifold is a good shorty.

i think you will gain a lot from long tubes. and the stock ss sysytem flows great to. there are a lot of ss's still running stock exhaust and running good. tog;s or asm's will work. i have and like the dynatechs as well.

I have the gibson shorty headers on mine. I can feel some more power in the higher rpms. I couldnt beat the price. I got them for 180 shipped to my house from trucking performance.

I ran 9.7 without togs with 1 flowmaster
9.7 with togs with a higher trap speed
took off the flowmaster from the y back and ran 9.5 spinning off line

I believe headers give an increase unless there being choked down by whats
behind it

Thanks Guys,

I'll be saving up for a set of coated TOG's I guess.
