BlackGMC, I ran the 12579 dumped before the axle and it was real quiet. I had stock cats, but I'd imagine over the axle out the back it would be pretty quiet without cats.

Yep, i will be getting rid of the oval muffler $15 and it is yours (you gotta come pick it up thou), but i think i am going to keep the 5" round one and put it infront of the monster i just bought .

Yep i am hoping it is quiet, my truck for some retarded reason is just insanely loud...

im running the 5x11 22" 3.5" in/out magnaflow on my sss and its perfect, very quiet around town and at idle but still sounds mean when you get on it. also running LTs and no cats. i think youll be happy with it!

Im running a DI/DO flowmonster and love it. If i remember correctly its a 24" case.
Pay no attention to the dirty truck, lol.

the biggest flowmonster muffler available is the 18" case, 24" overall length muffler. the 22" case is still in the works. i had that same muffler on my truck for a while and its quite a bit louder than the magnaflow he ended up getting. it would probably be louder than his current set up as well

I couldnt remember how long the case was. I love this muffler, so much deeper than the 40 flows.
