Default Anyone running Edelbrock T.E.S. headers?

I was thinking about buying a set of Gibson shorty headers. However members here at ls-1 tech told me to save my money and buy some mid or long length headers. I was thinking about buying some Edelbrock Tubiler Exhaust System with headers. They look like a mid length header and are made out of 409 stainless and painted black. Would they rust? And would they perform like a mid length header? Finally, how much power would I make over shorties?

Got a picture of these? I think Stainless will rust with the heat, but I'm not sure.

what size are the primary's? to me, thats the key, the edelbrok headers i have are
1 5/8s , the togs are 1 3/4 i think, and the asms are 1 7/8 i believe. the bigger pipe equals better flow and equals more power. even more so with a forced induction system. i noticed no difference with my edelbrok headers. good luck

I know it isn't relevant, but I had the edelbrock tes on a 94 s10 ss. They were advertising that their exhaust would take 7 tenths off the 0-70 times. It just so happened that the truck was running exactly 70 mph in the 1/8th at the time so I called their tech line and asked "My truck runs from a dead stop to 70 mph in the 1/8th mile, you are saying these headers are going to take 7 tenths off my 1/8th mile et?" UH, UH, UH, Yes sir, sure will was the answer. Guess what it did in reality?? 0!! No increase in performance at all! MPH stayed the same, 60 ft, ET. Nothing but a big expense, a set of ugly rust collectors and a lot of wasted energy.
