Anyone running Magnaflows and 5.3
Does anyone have a Magnaflow setup on a 5.3? I am sure there are tons, but more specifically what muffler and configuration are you running and what type of sound does it produce?
I have stock exhaust on a 01 ex cab 5.3 and am thinking about getting a couple of these. (2.25 in)
Part no 11215
Anyone have anything similar?

I just had mine installed this week. It was an 18" 2.5" center/offset. It sounds real smoothe and has awsome flow. It does seem a little quiet, but I am getting a set of thorley headers so I'm sure it will get a little louder. Overall I think Magnaflow is the best.

I've got a full cat back setup on mine....offset in & center out 22". I love it, it's quiet at idle & cruising around town it has a mellow rumble but screams when I punch it.
I have a friend who has serious truck fever & every time he rides with me, he says it sounds better & better. I'll get a video of it for you today...been wanting to try out my new digital camcorder.

I am thinking the 14s would sound a little louder?
Also, why does everyone run dual 2.5"? Isn't that a little overkill on a stock motor?

Also, a big thanks to everyone for the replies. I have been debating Magnaflow against Flowmaster. I have always had the FM on my Mustangs, I think I am ready to step UP to some quality sounding less aggressive exhaust for this truck.
