Default anyone spinning the mt et streets on the track?

Just wondering how those of you running the mt et streets are doing at the track. Do they hook on the highway also?

They are DOT approved, but wont last long on the highway. Maybe a couple thousand miles. As far as hooking at the track I've heard of truck guys getting low 1.6 60's with them without spinning. I guess its all in how you heat them up and track prep.

I will be getting some in the next week or so and am a little worried about spinning off the line still, but we'll see.

I borrowed a set for a few passes. They did fine off the line, but 1-2 they spun, but not as bad as street tires.

Yeah, Im getting a little worried about my mt 26*10.5*16 et streets hooking up. When I had the yank 3000 with my setup, I could dead hook on the street and the track from just driving and no warmup on 20 lbs of air. Now that I have the yank ss3600, I can spin them through first on the street with 14lbs of air in them, and a damn good burnout. I am a little worried that they wont hook on the track, being that last time I went, the way they acted on the track and the street was exactly the same. I was going to go this saturday, but when I called, the track was closed. What are my other options if these things dont hook for me anymore?

slowprocess can spin his at the track even with decent track prep. i have spun bfg dr's and i know bigkid was talking about switching to a wider rear wheel and et street because of it.

I ran the 28x12.5x16 on my previous set-up and found that I would have to run them with about 12psi to get decent traction.. Your burnout will have a lot to do with it... In my heavy truck and 12psi you would really have to drive it on the top end.. Definatley makes your *** pucker.. At 15-16 handles well just had traction issues..

My last time out to the track I was spinning off the line. I have 28x11.5x16's and was shooting a progressive 150 & 175 shot (60%) out of the hole. No nitrous I doubt I can spin 'em off the line with a good burnout.
