I'm sure some people are going to answer, but there is a wealth of information on this cam already archived in the forum. Try doing a search using '212/218' or '212' and '218' and/or 'low lift' or 'XR265HR' (the Comp grind number), etc. You'll find a lot more info than you will in this post.
Just try a search with 'XR265HR' and see how many hits you get.

I have this cam in my truck & made 290 rwhp back during the summer, a couple of months ago with the cooler temps, it made the same with only 22 degrees of timing. I usally run 34 total degrees, I should have put the timing back in, but I was curious to see how the cam reacted to the nitrous. It made 394 rwhp & 403 rwtorque. This was on a 120 dry shot. the cam idles nicely & with the idle set around 550 it thumps really nice. When you lay in it the response is awesome.
