That camera is not reproducing the sound very well, it's using a compressor to limit the sound peaks. The actual waveform should have more low end and more amplitude.
I ran a 10 series on a 5" tip. Loud as hell, but too much bass pulse with my cam. When the cam chops, the pulse will chop right through nearby buildings...

2 3'' to Y and single 4 all the way back.

Just bought a 24" magnaflow to replace my 15" mbrp. If its not reasonably quiet I'm going to just chalk it up to the 4" and roll with it.

If you noticed when he was pulling onto the street, you could hear the tires crunching over the exhaust. That muffler is nowhere near that quiet at idle or off idle...the only reason it sounded like it had a growl was because he has a stock cam in there. It's loud, but only the only difference over a 40 series is the 10 series passes a little more low range and a lot more high range. (aka NOISE)

Yes. It's basically a single baffle muffler, one step short of straight pipes.

The Borla and Corsa mufflers use tuned box sound cancelling to limit the sound level while keeping that signature note...on specifically measured and matched vehicles. For instance, take a 2010 Camaro with Corsa mufflers. Add longtubes. Now, the car sounds normal from 0-2200RPM, but when you get on it the muffler puts out a loud raspy noise like a blown speaker being overdriven.
If you are looking for something similar in design to the ATAK I'd recommend looking at Goerlich Xlerator mufflers. They're not tuned to specific vehicles and are a whole lot easier to find.
