I think C3C5 ran in the mid twelves with his 408 on just the motor, with big wheels and tires, so I'm sure your goal of mid-elevens will be achievable with a blower. I think a little more converter would help, and you didn't mention if the blower is the Radix with the intercooler, although I have a feeling it is. I do appreciate the fact that drivability seems to be your main concern.

I like the fact he didnt go all out on converter and cam,its better for Joe Daily driver.I kind of wish he would have first went N/A and about 10.8 compression. Then later lowered the compression and added a huffer.BTW are you going with stage 2 heads?

I'm interested in seeing how the Radix makes boost with your bigger engine. That's the only problem I've had on my LS1 Z28. It only made 4.5# with the stock pulley (3.4"), then it made 6.5# with the 3.0" pulley. I just got the 2.75" pulley yesterday, so hopefully I can get to 7-7.5#. Boy does it pull hard though!

Here's some more engine spec's.
Callies 4.000" stroke crank
Eagle H beam connecting rods
Diamond forged dished pistons
Diamond proselect ring set
APE 6.0 race heads
9.5:1 compression

It is the Radix with intercooler. Truck does seem to fall off a bit in third gear right now. Down low is really a treat, the truck spins all 4 tires.......that's great!!

this is some of what was brought up before concerning the max ability of the blower. a well flowing 409 should be good for 400-450rwhp i think. and the blower apears to max out at about 500rwhp. that means the blower may only give him 50hp or so and wont be likely to get him into the 11's. this is all theory and i am anxious to see someone prove it wrong.

whats cool is he is going to give it a try and then change to a bigger blower if it dont work out.

I believe c3c5 runs stock size tires and wheels.Stock axels and tcase stock AWD.He does have a built THM 350,he couldnt get the 4l65E to live.

I want a 408......dammit
